Not many of the past season’s Off-Broadway musicals were recorded (the critically acclaimed In the Heights will hit the studio once it makes the move to Broadway), yet we still came up with an eclectic five-CD set. Evil Dead: The Musical, The Fantasticks, and Shout! The Mod Musical join the Encores! recording of Face the Music and the long-awaited release of The Bubbly Black Girl Sheds Her Chameleon Skin.
